The completed project represents a comprehensive applied research aimed at improving device structures based on oxide semiconductors. Research methods: electron microscopy, electron diffraction, spectrophotometry, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The processes of phase equilibrium and morphological evolution of Bi-Sn and In-Sn binary systems, which are components of lead-free solders and means of modifying functional structures, have been studied. It has been shown that diffusion processes in thin films quickly homogenize them in thickness. The physical mechanisms for visualizing the main contours of phase diagrams in films have been revealed. The promise of using thermal dispersion to create multifunctional arrays is shown. Methods for obtaining nanocrystalline semiconductor layers have been developed and the features of their phase and microstructural evolution have been established. The thermoelectric and sensory properties of the resulting films were determined. Models of end devices based on the developed thermoelectric and sensor materials are proposed. The results of the research can be used by institutions involved in the development of micro-size soldering technologies, modification of functional structures with arrays of binary particles, and the study of physical phenomena at the “binary melt-metal” interface. Proven technologies for creating nanostructured layers should be of interest to manufacturers of thermoelectric materials, thermal sensors, and thermal imaging matrices.
