Registration Date 15-01-2024 Organization State Research Station of Poultry of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 It was established that our improved SANDEZVET (SDV) agent in combination with surfactant has bactericidal activity against test cultures of enterobacteria and on test objects. The fungistatic properties of the drug at a 3.0% concentration and fungicidal properties at a 5.0% concentration of the disinfectant solutions were determined for strains of Aspergillus fumigatus and Penicillium Divaricata test cultures. The parameters of acute toxicity and toxicity when applied to the skin of SANDEZVET for laboratory animals were determined. The results of studies on rats and ants allowed to assign the drug to class IV - low-toxic substances (LD50 501-5000 mg/kg of body weight), and according to the degree of danger to class III - moderately dangerous substances (LD50 151-5000 mg/kg of body weight). The potential of using SANDEZVET for disinfection of hatching eggs during incubation was studied. There was no effect of 3% solution of SDV agent on egg fertilization, which was 87.7%, which allows the use of the drug for disinfection of hatching eggs during incubation. The impossibility of disinfecting hatching eggs with a solution of SDV+surfactant due to the formation of a dense film on the shell, which leads to the death of embryos during their development, was found out. Using a 5% SDV+surfactant solution to disinfect the incubation cabinet maintains its sterility throughout the incubation period. According to the results of the conducted research, methodical recommendations "Application of SANDEZVET (SDV) for disinfection in poultry farming" were developed. The introduction of the disinfectant Sandezvet for the disinfection of surfaces, tools, grain, incubation and hatching cabinets, hatching eggs will contribute to the prevention or elimination of the processes of accumulation, reproduction and spread of pathogens by their destruction or removal on objects and objects, which ensures the interruption of the ways of transmission of infectious agents.
