In all examined patients with CHC, along with a thorough clinical examination, in the dynamics of the disease, a general blood test, the concentration of total bilirubin and its fractions, total protein and its fractions, the level of a thymol sample, the activity of ALT, AST, the general analysis of urine, the presence of urobilin and bile pigments. Intensification of lipid peroxidation processes was established in patients with chronic hepatitis C, which is accompanied by the accumulation of diene conjugates and malondialdehyde. The degree of expressiveness of such changes is related to the activity of the pathological process in the liver. The increase in the content of diene conjugates and malondialdehyde in blood serum and erythrocytes occurred in parallel with the increase in hepatitis activity. A pronounced correlation was established between indicators of the platelet link of hemostasis and the components of POL and AOS. Patients were also subjected to molecular genetic studies, which included the determination of polymorphic variants of the genes IL-4(C589T), IL-10(G1082A), TNFα (G308A), SMAD7, and studied indicators of the cellular link of immunity (subpopulations of T and B lymphocytes (CD3 +, CD4 +, CD8 +, CD16 +, CD19 +)3.
