The purpose of the work is the influence of tactical and technical indicators and operating parameters of the intermittent-impulse fire extinguishing installation on the formation of finely sprayed water for extinguishing internal fires.Research methods — mathematical modeling of the process of crushing water by a shock wave in the pipe of a periodic-impulse fire extinguishing installation and the process of filling the container with finely sprayed water was carried out by the pressure-based method using the ANSYS software.using the method of capturing water drops, a study was conducted to determine the diameter of water drops (dispersity), the results of the experimental studies were summarized by the method of least squares, the Euler-Lagrange method allowed to determine the volume composition of the gas medium when finely atomized water was fed into the container, and the model was developed the building allowed to conduct experimental studies of the development of internal fire, processing and analysis of the obtained results.
