Registration Date 16-01-2024 Organization Odessa National Medical University popup.description2 108 patients with vestibular dysfunctions against a background of chronic cerebral ischemia were examined in order to develop pathogenetic treatment. The state of the autonomic system, vestibular and statolocomotor functions, electrophysiological characteristics were studied. The dependence of vestibular disorders on the duration and age of patients, the presence of degenerative changes in the cervical spine, as well as structural damage to the brain, depending on severity, was revealed. Vestibuloatactic disorders reached 92.7% of cases, increased with the progression of the pathological process and changes in autonomic tone. Psycho-emotional stratifications indicated that clinically significant anxiety was recorded mainly against the background of sympathicotonia (62.5%), and depressive disorders with vagotonia (80.0%). The spasm of the vessels of the basin of the vertebral artery prevailed, and the presence of sympathicotonia intensified it.
