It is shown that, provided that the thickness of the composite part is increased by 5-10% in the end zone, the static strength of the proposed connection methods provides a reduction in labor intensity due to the elimination of pulling operations. Structural and technological solutions of joints provide reduction of labor intensity and cost due to the elimination of drilling operations and installation of traditional fasteners, have high technological reliability due to reduction of defects, and are organically integrated into typical technological processes of manufacturing structures from composites. The results of the research can be implemented in most designs of skin panels and aircraft frame elements, as well as in many products of the transport engineering industry, sports and medical equipment. For the first time in world practice, methods of joining parts made of polymer composites based on preserving the integrity of fibers and providing an effective transition to a metal connecting element have been proposed, which, in turn, makes it possible to use traditional methods of assembling aircraft and their components. Typical elements of the proposed connection methods can be the basis for developing a wide range of special fasteners for composite structures. Design and technological solutions for connections based on longitudinal and transverse fasteners can be used in VA-RTM and RTM technologies without significant modifications.
