The textbooks were tested in 2023 in grades 5-6 of experimental schools in Poltava, Kremenchuk, and the Dnipro region. At the beginning of the school year (2023), each teacher was interviewed to discuss the purpose, content, and structure of the teaching and learning support. The developed scientific and methodological support for the study of "Environment" in grades 5-6 was transferred to experimental schools for further refinement. Teachers were asked to provide comments on the content of the first section "Methods of teaching the environment in grades 5-6". It was proposed to clarify the content of the sections of the practical manual "Didactic materials for the integrated natural science course "Environment" for students in grades 5-6"; the manuscript of materials for the methodological recommendations "Methodological advice to teachers of the integrated natural science course "Environment".
