Since the Skolivskyi Beskids region has significant potential for the development of tourism and other types of human activities that can affect the natural environment, it is important to study how these ecosystem services can be preserved and used for the benefit of the local population and nature. Therefore, this research has practical value for ensuring sustainable development and preservation of biodiversity. The results of the research can be useful for developing a strategy for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development of the region, supporting the decision-making process and determining the economic value of ecosystem services. The aim of the Skoliv Beskydy ecosystem services study is to investigate the ecosystem services of the Skoliv Beskydy with an assessment of their impact on the ecological, social and economic importance for the region. The performance of the defined tasks at this stage of the work included: analysis of scientific publications and study of international experience in ecosystem services assessments; selection of methods for assessment; establishment of stakeholders; definition and grouping of ecosystem services and their description; conducting field research on the territory of the NPP; conduct an analysis of the floristic and faunal richness of the model territory. Based on the analysis of the received data, 4 main groups of ecosystem services (provision, regulation, cultural and social services, ecosystem maintenance services), 18 subgroups and 33 eco-services were identified. Systematization was made according to the recommendations of the "Millennium Ecosystem Assessment". The obtained results were tested at all-Ukrainian and international scientific conferences.
