During the execution of the works, a draft of the Law of Ukraine "On Biological Safety and Biological Security was developed in cooperation with the OSCE Representation in Ukraine, and by-laws related to the activities of microbiological profile laboratories, depositories and collections of microorganism strains were developed; development and approval of veterinary biological drugs. A technique for the preparation of colored antigen of Salmonella gallinarum, Salmonella pullorum and Salmonella enteritidis has been developed. Negative and positive sera for Salmonella gallinarum, Salmonella pullorum and Salmonella enteritidis were obtained for conducting studies on determining the activity and specificity of the colored antigen and working out the microagglutination test. The results of the work are of scientific and practical interest for institutions of microbiological profile and biological industry enterprises. It is promising to further approve and implement the developed documents and tools into the practical activities of enterprises and institutions.
