It is based on the following assumptions: 1) Despite the widespread understanding of identity as a "meaning of self" (S. Huntington), identity remains an opaque concept of double sense, since the simultaneous refers to uniqueness (identity with oneself) and sameness (identity as analogy to type, class, collective sample). This key paradox, the contextual dependence of this concept is cultivated both within scientific discourse and in public rhetoric. 2) Transformations of cultural identities in Ukrainian society in recent years are prone to the action of identity politics, which is carried out according to the imperatives of the authorities, which creates some "matrix of individuality" as an element of domination over the individual and control over his socialization, as it happens in the context of "politics of ressentiment" (F. Fukuyama), "politics of the street" (J. Butler) or "politics of vulnerability" (L. Chouliaraki). 3) The event of the military invasion of Russia divided the space and time of the existence of Ukrainians into "us" and "them", overcoming the uncertainty and multiplicity of reactions of individual and collective subjects during the pandemic, turned the fact of citizenship into the existential experience of people, formed the project of a Ukrainian as a model of identity with a clearer than before, value summary "freedom, dignity, security", with a high level of trust in the state, the Armed Forces, widespread practices of mutual aid and solidarity. With the expectation of a peace event, the unity of citizens is increasingly clearly divided into numerous types of "self-identity", which will differ in the degree of involvement in dangerous life collisions, in trials, in participation in the promotion to victory and insist on recognition. The research reconstructs the segmentation of the space of identitie Product Description popup.authors Burlachuk Victor Phokich Kovalenko Elizaveta P.
