N. Sokolovsky» popup.description2 The object of the research is soils of different degrees of erosion and genesis (on the fields of the Kharkiv region (Bogoduhivskyi and Balakliya districts, including archival aerial photographs). The purpose of the research is to determine the areas of erosively degraded lands using aerial photography from a drone. Research methods are remote (aerial photography from a drone), analytical (methods of classical wet chemistry), camera - cartographic methods (processing of orthophoto plans in Mapinfo GIS). Theoretical results: an aerial photography method was created to check the presence of erosively degraded lands in the Kharkiv region, based on which aerial photography in the form of a spiral was carried out; processing of orthophoto plans in the Adobe Photoshop software, which has a higher correlation with the results of ground research on areas of degraded lands, Erdasimage (image color processing), Mapinfo (map analysis), determination of moisture content and granulometric composition of soils; establishment of the dependence between areas of degraded land and illuminated areas of the RGB model on aerial photographs and orthophoto plans when surveying soil without vegetation cover. Practical results: a map scheme - a version of erosionally degraded lands on specified objects using the example of the Kharkiv region, based on aerial photography from an unmanned aerial vehicle and subsequent data analysis. Novelty: a methodical approach to surveying and analysis of aerial photographs has been developed, which includes requirements for the time of surveying, its resolution, the sequence of processing aerial photographs and the detection of the erosion network of drains, including under vegetation. Field of application: monitoring of soil resources in agriculture, which determines the effectiveness of implementation throughout the territory of Ukraine.
