Purpose: the development of biotechnologies for obtaining and increasing biosynthesis in plant systems of biologically active compounds: natural hemostatic, wound-healing compounds and antidepressant substances. Object: the process of development of modern biotechnologies for the cultivation of medicinal plants to obtain phytoraw materials with an increased content of biologically active natural compounds. Subject: the research is medicinal plants Bletilla striata, Matricaria chamomilla, Achillea millefolium and Hypericum perforatum. Methods: in vitro cultivation; atomic absorption spectrometry; acute irradiation of seeds; introductory studies; quantitative and qualitative determination of secondary metabolites; statistical methods of data processing. The cultivation conditions and peculiarities of plant growth, development, and formation of phytoraw materials of the investigated plants were studied. An analysis of their productive potential, content of secondary metabolites was carried out. The complex of biotechnological measures including organomineral biopreparations, irradiation in the range of 10–15 Gray and seed of cv. Horal M. chamomilla and A. millefolium determined the optimal conditions for the highest yield. Postaseptic adaptation of B. striata plants was successfully carried out with the transfer of clones to the conditions of unprotected soil. The high adaptability and individuals stability was proven, which was confirmed by the state of the structure of the leaves epidermis. 3 scientific papers and reports at 2 international conferences were published. The manuscript of the brochure "Development of modern phytotechnologies of cultivation and use of aromatic medicinal plants with increased content of biologically active compounds" were prepared.
