The purpose of the research is to isolate field isolates of the causative agent of riemerellosis and ornithobacteriosis and to study their biological properties, to conduct an epizootological examination of farms regarding the prevalence of these diseases in poultry farms of Ukraine. Methods of work - epizootological, clinical, patho-anatomical, virological, serological, statistical; at the same time, we used scales VLR - 200, thermostats: TS - 80 M, ZC - 1125 MU-42, drying cabinets SUP-4, microscopes: Biolam R-1, Biolam R-15, centrifuges RS-6, TSR-1, pH -meter, StatFax 2010 reader. Methods for diagnosing waterfowl riemerellosis and poultry ornithobacteriosis have been developed, the use of which makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of poultry treatment by 15.0-20.0%. An epizootological survey was conducted for riemerellosis in six poultry farms and ornithobacteriosis in five farms in three regions of Ukraine (Kharkiv, Poltava, and Sumy). For the first time on the territory of Ukraine, the circulation of the causative agent of waterfowl riemerellosis in goslings and ducklings under the age of 2 months was confirmed in 3 homestead farms, as well as the circulation of the causative agent of poultry ornithobacteriosis (in broilers and turkeys) in 2 homestead farms. Clinical signs of diseases, age groups of risk have been established. Using the developed methods, the biological properties of the isolates of the causative agents of riemerellosis and ornithobacteriosis were isolated and studied. Analytical reports on the biological properties of the causative agents of these diseases, isolated in Ukraine, and the most effective antibacterial agents for riemerel and ornithobacteria have been prepared.
