Stage 1. "Development of new schematic solutions for technological processes of burning synthetic fuels from solid household waste (SНW) and biomass in cogeneration plants using combined heat utilization systems, heat pumps, dust and gas cleaning of combustion products, purification of spent aqueous solutions and research of optimal modes based on SНW and logistic methods of preparation of agricultural biomass" popup.stage_title Head Sniezhkin Yurii F., Доктор технічних наук Registration Date 19-01-2024 Organization Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 The scientific and technical substantiation of ways to increase the energy and environmental efficiency of burning artificial fuels from solid household waste (SHW) and biomass in cogeneration plants has been carried out. The analysis of the components of these fuels, which can be used for the production of alternative solid RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) fuel, was performed and the kinetics of convective drying of RDF of different composition was investigated. The heat of combustion of RDF components was determined and the calorific value of RDF fuel of different composition was calculated. A set of experimental studies of SHW combustion processes of morphology and fuel from them in the air-dry state was carried out with the use of "glow-up" with various gases and the addition of biomass to the composition of SHW. Schematic solutions of systems for the deep recovery of the heat of waste gases are proposed for the technologies of burning artificial fuels from solid waste when using combined schemes and heat pumps. Energy-economic evaluations of the proposed solutions were carried out and recommendations were developed regarding the optimal choice of types and power of technological equipment. The conducted research on the cleaning of condensate after heat-recovery plants with deep cooling of waste gases by the method of hydrodynamic cavitation. A new highly efficient dust cleaning system ("Cyclofilter") has been developed, which is an alternative to the expensive traditional an electrostatic precipitator. The issue of preparing agricultural biomass for biomethane production is considered. The total potential of biomethane production from crop residues is about 4.4 billion m3СН4/year (about 50% of Ukraine's pre-war needs for natural gas imports). The need for the construction of 9 CHP plants in Ukraine, which will use artificial fuel from SHW, which will be produced at 207 factories, is substantiated. The approximate capacity of such CHPs is 200,000 tons per year. Product Description popup.authors Avramenko Andrii O. Basok Borys I Bykoriz Yevhen Yo. Vorobiov Leonid Yo Heletukha Heorhii H.
