The method of composing the additive, its mixing and subsequent production of granules has been developed and adapted for the production at compound feed plants. Chemical composition and nutritional value of the feed supplement according to manufacturing options: one kilogram of completely dry matter contains: crude protein – 7.81-7.91%, crude fat – 3.79-4.09%, crude fiber – 31.25-29.82 %, metabolic energy – 8.03-8.00 MJ. It is fed to dry cows three weeks before calving and to dairy cows in the first three weeks after it, provides a decrease in the level of ketone bodies in the blood of cows during the transition period by 43.3 and 44.6%. The use of feed additives increases milk productivity by up to 15%, promotes obtaining healthy, viable offspring, shortens the service period to optimal physiological norms.
