As a result of the research, it was found that the use of germinant (inosine - 0.05%; L-histidine - 0.05%; L-valine - 0.05%; L-serine - 0.05%) specifically affects the germination of Bacillus spores in vitro, with almost all inoculated spores germinating to form vegetative forms of bacteria within the first two hours after the application of the germinant, After that, the use of a disinfectant (a mixture of benzalkonium chloride (0.5%) and didecyl dimethylammonium chloride (0.5%)) allows them to be neutralized, with a 0.5% concentration being sufficient to neutralize the pathogen in the tested substrate (gray forest soil). The application of this approach to decontamination will help reduce the microbial background and neutralize pathogenic and opportunistic microflora in soils contaminated with spore-forming microorganisms.
