Trends in the labor market have been identified: transformation of existing workplaces that require highly qualified specialists; emergence of new types of jobs and new forms of work; mismatch between supply and demand on the labor market; unemployment growth and labor migration; strengthening remote work in the national labor market; increasing mobility and attracting highly qualified specialists to the most sought-after sectors of the economy. Mechanisms and tools for adaptation of educational programs in accordance with the needs of the European labor market are substantiated: design and development of new educational programs in accordance with the needs of the labor market and successful employment of graduates; introduction of educational components into the educational program for the purpose of forming appropriate micro-qualifications; creation of educational programs based on a dual form of education and organization of practical training on the basis of partner enterprises. It was found that the main principles of monitoring the demand and supply of training of specialists with higher education are: scientific and methodical justification; expediency; systematicity and systematicity; efficiency; representativeness; objectivity of obtaining; credibility; confidentiality; development; security of personal data. The feature of the dual form of obtaining higher education is determined, which consists in the presence of two learning environments - academic and industrial, thanks to which the theoretical and practical training of those obtaining higher education becomes balanced.
