Research methods: mathematical computer modeling of absorption-desorption processes in columns and reactor systems, mathematical modeling of heat and mass transfer processes in channels of complex shape of plate heat exchangers, energy-efficient integration of heat and process technologies. A technological scheme of the CO2 absorption system with maximum heat energy recovery and a general technological scheme of methanol production at a coal-fired power plant from combustion flue gases, solid household and other waste, using waste heat and renewable energy sources were developed. Variants of the technological scheme of the methanol synthesis system with maximum energy efficiency and the possibility of heat recovery and thermal integration of technological and auxiliary streams with the CO2 capture and water electrolysis system were developed. Information related to the research topic was collected and analyzed. Approaches to the construction of a complex for the capture and conversion of emission CO2 from thermal power plants and industrial enterprises are determined. Mathematical models of technological processes for each component of the complex are developed based on the main hypotheses of the project and approaches to the construction of the complex are determined. Particular attention is paid to modeling processes in plate heat exchangers and optimizing their designs for methanol synthesis and carbon dioxide capture. The main results of modeling processes in the channels of plate heat exchangers are presented in published articles. They relate to modeling the processes of heat and mass transfer during condensation and the effect of the geometric shape of the corrugation on heat transfer, taking into account contaminants on the surface of the plates.
