The research object is the process of monitoring the technical condition of digital field-replaceable units directly at the electronic weapons deployment site. The research aim is to increase the combat readiness factor of the electronic weapons digital component. Research methods are the technical diagnostics theory method (in the analysis of existing methods and means of monitoring the technical condition of digital FRUs and in the design of verification test sequences); the circuits theory method (to substantiate the possibility of diagnostic information processing on the diagnostic unit); the automatic control theory (to design a diagnostic model of large integrated circuits and FRUs), reliability theory methods (to determine the reliability indicators of digital EW objects), and mathematical statistics methods (to check the statistical relationship of signals at the output and at the control point of the technical condition verification device). A methodology for diagnosing digital field-replaceable units at the first level (operation) based on the spectral energy-dynamic method (product 19Ж6) was developed and theoretically substantiated, and technical solutions for the diagnostic system based on the spectral energy-dynamic method were proposed. The effectiveness of improved technical solutions for the diagnostic system based on the spectral energy-dynamic method (product 19Ж6) was evaluated. The victory estimate in the average diagnostic time using the developed method compared to the use of probabilistic methods was calculated. The structural and functional diagrams of a controlled switch of digital and analog signals for the diagnostic system based on the spectral energy-dynamic method were developed, including recommendations for design and implementation.
