We propose to consider society cohesion as a synthetic phenomenon of "cohesion around someone/something", "cohesion for the sake of something/someone", "cohesion against something/someone"; (2) as a union around an idea (or some values, goals, ideology, etc.), a subject and a readiness to act to protect what people believe in. For the first time: forms of social solidarity in the conditions of military and political aggression were singled out; the psychological basis of the Ukrainian government’s solidarizing influence was determined: the policy of national identity, trust in relations, the strategy of informational policy, psychological readiness for dialogue and polylogue, the architecture of political and social relations, political and psychological technologies, value-oriented dominants of social solidarity (ideology, patriotism, spirituality). We clarified: the main factors underlying the “refugee syndrome". The following ideas were studied in-depth: value dominants of social cohesion: ideas uniting people, spirituality, patriotism, common norms, focus on public welfare, trust, responsibility. The following assumption were argued: common value orientations contribute to cohesion and social harmony in society, minimize the risks of internal and external threats to national security; the prognostic potential of the metaphor of home is a factor of stable and successful reintegration for different groups of refugees; people's ideas about prospects, what is likely and what is desirable mediate the cohesion of society.
