Registration Date 23-01-2024 Organization Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The report presents the results of the first study in Ukraine of the psychology of intergroup interaction in historical and territorial dimensions, based on theories of group phenomenology, group dynamics and group identity, conscious and unconscious factors of interaction between group members. Developed: politico-historic-psychological theory of collective trauma; concept and system of explanatory principles of intergroup interaction; model of the dynamics of extreme intergroup interaction; classification of mechanisms of intergroup interaction according to the criteria of phenomenology, structure and dynamics of interaction, as well as functions of social groups. War is defined as an extreme form of intergroup interaction in which the boundaries of group interaction are rearranged. Also, during the war, group identity crystallizes, the subjectivity of the participants in the interaction changes, psychosocial fears are overcome, historical memory is actualized, and the subjects of interaction are re-categorized. Concepts of historical and territorial dimensions of intergroup interaction are defined. Mechanisms of intergroup interaction in situations of forced migration and voluntary immobility during war were empirically investigated. Mapping of interventions to improve the mental health and psychosocial support of children affected by wars was carried out. Algorithms for facilitating problematic intergroup interaction are singled out. A psychosocial support program for families affected by the war was developed and implemented. The principles of assessing the severity of collective traumas, the patterns of their genesis and intergenerational transmission, the peculiarities of the protective behavior of the group in response to collective trauma, the means of overcoming the traumatic experience and healing from its consequences are determined. The factors causing collective injuries and their cyclic recurrence in history are analyzed. Product Description popup.authors Vys Viktor I.
