The relevance of the work is determined by the systematization of analytical information, a comprehensive analysis of the state of the natural environment and anthropogenic impact on the environment, which is necessary for the development of evaluation systems, forecasting the state of the environment, the formation of an ecological and economic mechanism of nature use, etc. Ukraine is an active participant in all the main mechanisms of international cooperation in the field of environmental protection and most international conventions, and is guided in its activities by the principles of international law. In difficult conditions, the Government of Ukraine continues to carry out reforms aimed at the greening of all spheres of the country's economic and social life, at the implementation of pan-European strategies for the preservation of biological and landscape diversity. The object of the study is the state of the natural environment in Ukraine in 2022. The purpose of the work is the systematic collection, accumulation, and analysis of information about the state of the natural environment in Ukraine.
