To improve the results of treatment of patients with surgical pathology of the abdominal cavity against the background of metabolic syndrome by optimizing the use of protocols for rapid postoperative rehabilitation of patients. As a result of the scientific study, deep theoretical results were obtained, which consist in a comprehensive study of the effectiveness and safety of the use of protocols for rapid postoperative rehabilitation of patients with abdominal surgical pathology and metabolic syndrome. The implementation of these results in practice makes it possible to evaluate the use of protocols for rapid postoperative rehabilitation of patients with metabolic syndrome, depending on the chosen variant of surgical access and type of surgery. А comprehensive algorithm for the treatment of metabolic syndrome was developed and implemented, which improved the results of treatment of patients with abdominal pathology, including through the introduction and optimization of minimally invasive surgical methods of treatment and the use of rapid postoperative rehabilitation protocols. Тhe use of minimally invasive surgical techniques and the introduction of rapid postoperative recovery protocols in the treatment of patients with abdominal surgery and concomitant metabolic syndrome has led to a reduction in the risk of postoperative complications and comprehensive correction of all components of the metabolic syndrome, which in turn helps to reduce perioperative stress, accelerate physical and psychological rehabilitation, reduce financial costs of national health care systems, first of all, by reducing the duration of hospitalization.
