The purpose of the work is the development of analytical systems with a comprehensive approach to the assessment of the quality of aquatic environments using solid-phase extraction, biotesting and improvement of the quality of aquatic environments with regard to the content of microcomponents (ecotoxicants of organic and inorganic nature) with increased selectivity, sensitivity and expressivity of their determination, which is important for ecological -hygienic assessment of sources of drinking water supply and drinking water, taking into account the requirements of current regulatory documents. Considerable attention in the work is directed to the development of a simple and sensitive method for the determination of bromides in aqueous solutions using pre-formed AgCl sediment on the filter surface (Filter/Ag@AgCl) as an analytical system. Experimental and clinical studies of the structure of drinking and mineral water have been conducted. It is shown that the degree of structuring of water largely determines its biological activity. Some aspects of complex monitoring of the quality of natural and drinking water, which guarantees their safety for humans and other living organisms, based on the development and use of new methods of comprehensive assessment of water quality and its possible impact on biological objects, are considered. The patterns of dispersed-phase distribution of organic ecotoxicants, namely organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in natural water systems were analyzed.
