The purpose of the work is to scientifically substantiate and instrumentally implement a new method of monitoring the exhaustion of fatigue resource of structural elements of aircraft using structurally sensitive indicators. Research methods and equipment: mechanical testing, optical microscopy, contactless profilometry, finite element method, correlation and regression analysis. Theoretical and practical results: a complex of deformation relief indicators for determining damage; mathematical model of formation of deformation relief clusters; experimental data of evolution of deformation relief under cyclic loading; structurally sensitive indicator as a key component of the Structural Health Monitoring system; method of monitoring the exhaustion of fatigue resource of aircraft. The conducted research allowed to create a theoretically and experimentally substantiated method of monitoring the exhaustion of fatigue resource of aircraft using structurally sensitive indicators. Testing of experimental samples of fatigue damage indicators was carried out.
