The subject of the study is the dependence of the efficiency of the technological processes of harvesting by-products of grain and oil crops on their technical support. The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of the technological processes of harvesting by-products of crop production for the production of solid types of fuels at the expense of the optimization of their technical support. The methods of research are calculation-theoretical and experimental. Results: Design and technological schemes and parameters of adapters for grain harvesters for collecting by-products of grain and oilseeds have been developed. An adapter design has been developed for the header of a combine harvester for collecting by-products of oilseeds. Samples of technical means were manufactured and laboratory and field studies of the process of mowing sunflower stems were carried out. A project has been developed for the technological process of collecting and preparing for use for energy purposes by-products of grains and oilseeds. Design documentation has been developed for the modernization of the header of a combine harvester for collecting by-products of oilseeds. A production tests were carried out and efficiency indicators were established for the technological processes of collecting and preparing for use for energy purposes by-products of grain and oilseeds.
