The aim of the work is EFU experimental model with appropriate design documentation developing and making, and the experimental model operation study. Research methods are the development of preliminary design documentation for devices, modules and automatic control system (ACS); EFU experimental model making; the experimental model’s devices and modules operation testing. The research results are: EFU experimental model with ACS; preliminary design documentation for making of the devices, modules and ACS of EFU experimental model; the experimental model’s operation test results; techniques for technological processes implementation at the EFU. EFU experimental model consists of five devices and modules, and the ASC. The Unit capacity is (125 - 500) dm3/cycle, the production area is 12 m2, and the power is 11 kW. The EFC has 1.3-4.5 times lower specific metal consumption and 1.6-5.2 times higher energy efficiency than known analogues. The study is a continuation of a series of works on the development and improvement of fermentation equipment for the industrial production of plant protection products (Research Works 10.00.03.04P, 10.00.03.08P, 10.00.03.13P, ETI "Biotekhnika" NAAS). The research results can be used for technical re-equipment or creation of new production biolaboratories and biofactories.
