The parameters of plastic deformations, stress, displacement, coefficients of approximation of the stress state to the limit are investigated. At the first stage, the main attention is paid to the analysis of existing approaches to the study of nonlinear processes of deformation and destruction of structures of machines and structures during their contact interaction with an elasto-plastic environment. The advantages and limitations of their use are studied. On the basis of the semi-analytical method of finite elements and the special finite elements developed within its framework, solving relations for solving the problems of the interaction of the structure with a nonlinear environment are obtained. At the second stage of research, new algorithms were created for modeling nonlinear processes of interaction of the structure with the soil environment, taking into account the previous stress state, the history of sequential formation and loading of the calculation model. The proposed approaches are implemented in the form of software procedures within the existing computing complex of programs. An analysis of the convergence and reliability of the proposed algorithms was carried out. On the third part, the peculiarities of solving the problems of nonlinear deformation of the soil base are highlighted, a method is developed that allows to reliably model the interaction of structures and structures with an elasto-plastic environment, regardless of the accepted lower limit of the calculation area, a comprehensive verification and approval of the developed methods and algorithms is carried out. The results of solving complex applied problems were obtained.
