The object of the study is the process of optimizing the technological and constructive parameters of magnetic separation during the processing of iron ore raw materials in the conditions of a mining and beneficiation plant. The subject of research is the technology of optimizing the process of magnetic separation during the processing of iron ore raw materials based on ultrasonic methods of operational monitoring of the characteristics of iron ore material and cleaning its surfaces and disintegration of ore aggregations. The goal of the project is to optimize the technology and increase the efficiency of the process of magnetic separation of iron ore through the complex application of ultrasonic technologies to optimize the technological and structural parameters of the magnetic separator, as well as to clean the surfaces of ore material and disintegrate ore aggregations. The project is aimed at solving the urgent problem of ensuring the effectiveness of the process of magnetic separation of iron ore through the complex application of ultrasonic technologies for: determining the optimal technological parameters of the magnetic separation process, optimizing the adjustable design parameters of the magnetic separator and pre-treatment of the pulp with high-energy ultrasound to clean the surfaces of the ore material from fine particles of minerals and slurries and disintegration of ore aggregations before feeding into the magnetic separator. The expected results of the study of regularities and substantiation of methods of increasing the efficiency of the process of magnetic separation of iron ore using ultrasonic technologies are a key element of mining production in the preparation of raw materials for the metallurgical complex.
