The solving system of nonlinear equations is derived taking into account the discreteness of the structure, which allows the load-bearing layers to deform independently. The calculation of critical loads and sensitivity to initial imperfections of structures consisting of two cylindrical carbon-plastic shells interacting with the help of a spring core was performed. It is shown that with axial compression with the same forces, the value of the critical load of the structure is in the interval between the values ​​of the inner and outer shells taken separately.
