Recombinant protein C was developed and isolated from E. coli transformed with the protein C gene. Protein C was obtained from human blood plasma using anti-protein affinity chromatography to the C-affine matrix. An experimental batch of protein C calibrators was obtained for use in the test system. The library of monoclonal antibodies to protein C was supplemented.
