The purpose of the research is to create a concept of evaluation and management system of ecological functions of introduced tree species in urban ecosystems to optimize their ecosystem services in urban green infrastructure. Research methods include geochemical, phytochemical methods of plant analysis, forestry, soil physicochemical, meteorological and statistical methods. Scientific research work by stage is aimed at identifying the processes of transformation of ecological functions and ecosystem services of introduced dendroflora in the green infrastructure of cities. The relationship between the content of pollutants in atmospheric air and in the assimilation organs of Robinia was established. The distribution of pollutants in Robinia plantations in the city of Dnipro was mapped. The participation of introduced dendroflora species in the formation of edaphotope stability was studied on the example of soil buffer ability. The contribution of plantations of introduced tree species to the optimisation of micro- and mesoclimatic conditions of the urban environment has been clarified. The better coordination of the antioxidant enzyme system during the dry growing season in the leaves of Chaenomeles japonica, Ch. × superba and Ch. speciosa was found, indicating their wide adaptive capabilities in relation to drought, high temperature and intense light. The obtained scientific results are of scientific novelty and practical value, and correspond to the modern scientific world level. Research results can be used to optimize the green infrastructure of cities, improve the quality of ecological functions of introduced tree in plantations of various purposes. Research materials can be applied in the fields of green innovative economy, landscape and ecological planning, environmental management of territories at the local level of environmental organization.
