At using the optimal value of the magnetic induction amplitude of 0.1 T, the lowest energy consumption is achieved when the improved activation method of the ferritization process is implemented at industrial productions compared to the traditional one. Dependencies between the main technological factors of energy-saving ferritization and the degree of extraction of heavy metal ions were obtained. It was established that the best cleaning quality is achieved when the reaction mixture is activated by variable magnetic fields at pH = 11.5; ferritization duration 15 min; the initial concentration of iron ions is 6.6 g/dm3. At the same time, the residual concentration of iron ions does not exceed 0.3 mg/dm3, which makes it possible to reuse water at industrial productions. X-ray phase analysis determined the qualitative and quantitative composition of ferritization sediments of spent etching solutions at different values of the magnetic induction amplitude. Analysis of the sediments confirmed the presence of phases: δ-FeOОН, Fe3O4 and ɣ - Fe2O3. The results of research on ferromagnetic sorbents obtained by the methods of hydrophase ferritization and electroerosion dispersion for purification of rinsing water and tertiary purification of etching solutions are presented. The most effective results ща purification were achieved with using of freshly obtained sorbent in the suspension form. Experimental studies have shown that the quality of sorption water purification is improved by ultrasonic treatment of the ferritization reaction mixture, as well as by increasing mixing speed to 1200 rpm. On the basis of the obtained data, a new fundamental technological scheme for complex processing of iron-containing wastewater and sludge was developed.
