The purpose of the work is to create a concept of transformation of the vegetation of the steppe zone of Ukraine to minimize the negative consequences of the war and its restoration in the post-war period. Research methods - field flora-ecological studies, morphometric, physiological, biochemical methods of determining the parameters of toxicological contamination of plants and soils. A database of ruderal and alien flora of the original landscapes of the steppe zone of Ukraine and invasive species of vascular plants with their bioecological characteristics according to the composition of ecomorphs, classification of alien elements of landscapes, and hemerobium has been compiled. A comparative analysis of ruderalization and adventitization of the flora of conditionally reference (Prysamarya) and transformed ecosystems of bayrach forests on the border of their cenotic range (bairach complex of the Bashmachka River) was carried out. As part of the alien fraction, invasive species that pose the greatest threat to natural forests are identified. Bioecological characteristics of indicator plants are given. Chlorophyll content and activity of antioxidant enzymes were investigated among the physiological characteristics of native and adventive plant species. Species-indicators of toxicological pollution and criteria for the transformation of vegetation as a result of military operations have been identified. The results obtained in the work can be applied to effectively assess the impact of climatic and anthropogenic factors, including those caused by military actions. Field of application: environmental safety, rational nature management, forestry, water management, invasive ecology. Product Description popup.authors Ivanko Iryna A. Baranovskyi Borys O.
