Heterogeneous iron oxide catalysts have a number of advantages compared to homogeneous catalysts. Therefore, the main task of the project was to create heterogeneous iron-containing metaloxide catalysts and check their activity during several months of continuous work. The activity of the catalysts was increased by heating with an electromagnetic field. Advanced oxidation processes were tested on organic pollutants (dyes, antibiotic, heterocyclic alkaloid) and in E. coli bacteria inactivation. As a result, a flow-through reactor was developed for the synthesis of inorganic substances by co-precipitation method in the flow-through mode; the catalysts based on hematite, magnetite and ferrites were created; the phase composition and structure-morphology parameters of the obtained materials were characterized; the catalytic activity of the obtained materials with respect to the radical H2O2 decomposition in a batch microreactor was determined; a fixed-bed reactor for catalytic H 2 O 2 decomposition was created; the influence of reaction conditions (H 2 O 2 concentration, pH, mineral composition of water) on the degradation rate of model organic toxicants in a flow reactor was studied; a fixed-bed reactor of heterogeneous catalytic decomposition of H 2 O 2 with induction heating was created and its influence on the degradation rate of model organic toxicants were studied; a series of catalysts with a positive surface charge was selected and tested in Escherichia coli bacteria inactivation; the toxicity tests of purified water were performed using single-celled green algae Chlorella and crustaceans Daphnia magna.
