The object of the study is various types of non-timber forest resources that exist in the conditions of natural and artificial forest ecosystems of the steppe zone of Ukraine. Standard biological research methods were used. For the most economically significant groups of non-wood resources experiencing a state of constant exploitation, an assessment of the negative consequences of climate change on vulnerable groups of biological species (number, distribution, reproductive success, reproduction of populations and groups) was carried out.
