The object of research is social policy in modern social and political processes. The purpose of the research work is to clarify the essence of the theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the phenomenon of social policy in modern social and political processes. The main tasks of work:  to reveal the mechanisms of social policy implementation in Ukraine and the subjects of its implementation;  carry out an analysis of the legislative and regulatory support of the social policy of Ukraine;  analyze current trends and priority areas of social policy in Ukraine;  to investigate social relations, life processes of society and social needs, which collectively form a social demand for the directions of the formation of state policy in the social sphere;  to demonstrate practical aspects of social policy implementation in modern socio-political processes. The scientific novelty of the obtained results consists in:  creating a theoretical and methodological basis for the study of state social policy in modern social and political processes;  justification of the essence of state social policy in modern social and political processes;  coverage of directions and priorities of state social policy in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war;  justification of the process of formation of state social policy in modern social and political conditions;  characteristics of the effectiveness of the state social policy implementation process in modern social and political conditions;  analysis of the experience of international models of social policy and the possibility of adapting best practices into the national model of state social policy.
