The results of the conducted research also showed that the use of the "constant current - constant voltage" converter (CCVC) allows to significantly improve the electromagnetic compatibility of powerful furnaces and networks of power supply systems. In particular, the main negative factor – the flicker indicator, can be reduced by 10 or more times. At the same time, the network voltage asymmetry coefficient decreases by 2.5 times. The analysis of asymmetric modes of the power supply scheme of the chipboard with CCVC showed that the arc current is characterized by a relatively small asymmetry in the region of normal operating modes; the probable value of the current of the reverse sequence of the arc is 0.12 - 0.13 of the nominal current of the arc. In the traditional furnace power scheme (TPS), this indicator is 2.6 - 3.4 times higher, which causes an increase in losses in the elements of the short network and the furnace transformer by 16%. The asymmetric mode of operation of the arc furnace leads to a decrease in the useful power released by the arcs in the working zone for both considered power schemes. However, with the use of CCVC, the probable value of arc power is 15-17% higher than in TPS. It can be seen from the given data that both schemes consume reactive power from the power system network, and according to the current methodology, the amount of reactive energy consumption is paid by the enterprise according to a separate tariff. Given that the average power value in the TPS is 1.7 times higher, the corresponding fee will also be higher. Product Description popup.authors Muzychak Andriy Z. popup.nrat_date 2024-02-02 Close
