Scientific studies take into account the peculiarities of the structuring of polymer composites based on epoxy binders and determine the effect of treatments in physical fields on the formation of the structure and properties of epoxy composites. However, these materials have a narrow functional purpose, which does not allow them to be used in difficult conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the formation technologie and composition of epoxy composites with high manufacturability, adhesive strength and resistance to the complex influence of operational factors. At the same time, it is necessary to provide the conditions for the formation of the necessary structure of the epoxy composite with a high density of chemical bonds and the elasticity of the polymer mesh. This will make it possible to eliminate the typical disadvantages of epoxy composite coatings, in particular, low impact viscosity and sensitivity to cyclic temperature changes. New protective epoxy composite coatings have been developed on the basis of experimental studies. The technology of modification and intensive structuring of protective multilayer epoxy composite coatings filled with highly dispersed particles of metal oxides with ultrasonic treatment of the composition has been developed. The composition of the operating layer, filled with treated highly dispersed titanium (IV) oxide powder, which has high resistance to cyclic temperature changes, the influence of aggressive environments and the influence of abrasive particles moving in the flow, is optimized. Treatment of polymer composite materials with external physical fields (radiation, temperature, magnetic, electric) will allow to purposefully change the physical and mechanical properties of materials.
