The object of research is gas-dynamic processes in air-jet engines and their mathematical modeling. The purpose of the work is to develop a mathematical apparatus that allows you to calculate the characteristics of engines to justify the selection of schemes of ground gas turbines and power plants of aircraft and to optimize their parameters. The research method is calculation-theoretical, which includes the construction of mathematical models that allow obtaining operational characteristics of air-jet engines of various purposes and using them to conduct parametric studies with further optimization of engine parameters. The theoretical basis of the research is the fundamental laws of conservation of mass, momentum and energy, the theory of similarity. The development of mathematical models of the work process of engine units is based on the comparison of the obtained results with experimental data on the flow structure, pressure losses and integral parameters. Mathematical modeling methods allow to describe with sufficient accuracy the processes occurring in gas turbine engines during their operation. The report consists of an introduction, 2 chapters, conclusions on the work and one appendix.
