The aim of the study is to improve the elements of manure utilisation technology in pigsties by using alcohol industry waste. Materials and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of LLC "Agroprime Holding" in Odesa region. The method of research is the method of theoretical generalisation and monographic analysis of research on the problematic issue. To eliminate the unpleasant specific smell of manure, ethanol production wastes - alcohol and cognac bards - were used at a ratio of 1:8-1:10 to liquid manure. The efficiency of the liquid manure deodorisation process was determined in the control and three experimental baths. The control bath of the pigsty with a volume of 20.0 m3 of liquid manure was filled with excrement of young pigs for 2-3 weeks, and the first, second, third experimental baths were filled with alcohol bard in the amount of 2.5, 2.2, 2.0 m3 before operation. The hydrogen sulphide ammonia content was determined monthly by chemical and odour by organoleptic methods. The implementation of this technological solution resulted in the complete neutralisation of ammonia and hydrogen sulphide generated at pig farms, which helped to eliminate unpleasant odours and improve the environmental situation. In particular, as a result of the interaction of alkaline bases of mineral and organic acids, ammonia is converted into ammonium, which has no unpleasant odour.
