The purpose of the work is to investigate the topography and morphofunctional features of immune formations in the intestines of domestic rabbits. Research methods — morphological, macroscopic and histological, cytological, statistical. Immune formations of the intestine are represented by Peyer's patches, lymphoid diverticulum of the ileum, and vermiform process of the cecum. Peyer's patches are present in the jejunum, ileum, and cecum. Lymphoid tissue in intestinal immune formations is represented by a diffuse form and secondary lymphoid nodules. Immune formations occupy the largest area in the ileum and the smallest in the jejunum. The microscopic structure of intestinal immune formations is similar to that of the adjacent parts of the intestines and is represented by mucous, muscular and serous membranes. The largest area of the mucous membrane is in the lymphoid diverticulum of the ileum (95.24±0.77%) and the appendix of the cecum (94.68±1.13%). Lymphoid tissue in intestinal immune formations is represented by a diffuse form and secondary lymphoid nodules. The area in the lymphoid diverticulum of the ileum (96.43±3.33% of the lymphoid tissue), and the diffuse form - in the Peyer's patches of the jejunum (33.93±3.77%). The cells of the Peyer's patches of the jejunum and ileum include lymphocytes, immunoblasts, proplasmocytes, plasmocytes), cells of the structures of their wall membranes (epitheliocytes, fibroblasts, macrophages, mast cells, endotheliocytes). Immunohistochemical studies have established that CD34+ cells are present in the vermiform process of the caecum of domestic rabbits, which may indicate the presence of hematopoietic stem cells in it.
