AMMONOIDEA, BIOSTRATIGRAPHY, VOLYN-PODILYA, BIVALVIA MOLLUSKS, INTERACTIVE MAP, CARPATHIANS, CRETACEOUS SYSTEM, OIL AND GAS BEARING, NEOGENE, PALEONTOLOGY, ZNESINNIA PARK, PRECARPATIAN FOREDEEP, FORAMINIFERA, JURASSIC SYSTEM. The object of research: biostratigraphy of Neogene, Cretaceous, Jurassic deposits of the Carpathian, Precarpathian, and Volyn-Podilskyi oil and gas-bearing areas of the Western oil and gas-bearing region of Ukraine by foraminifera, mollusks for the definition of oil and gas potential prospects. The aim of the work is a monograph study of mollusks, a definition of the fossils’ spreading peculiarities, detailing of zonation by foraminifera to determine the oil and gas generation potential of Neogene, Cretaceous, and Jurassic rocks of the Western region of Ukraine. Research methods: morphological-comparative, biostratigraphic, lithological-facies, paleontological analysis, GIS technologies. The results. The litho-biostratigraphic division of Lev Hill is detailed, and four levels of paleontological remains spreading in the Neogene deposits (Znesinnia Park, Lviv) are distinguished. Biostratigraphic studies of the Meso-Cenozoic sedimentary complexes of the Western oil and gas-bearing region of Ukraine, which are promising for the search for hydrocarbons, were carried out. Four species of Cephalopods from the Jurassic deposits of the Penin Zone of the Ukrainian Carpathians and six species of Bivalves from the deposits of the Kohaniv suite (Middle Jurassic) of the Precarpathian Foredeep are monographically described. The zonal division by foraminifera of the Cretaceous sediments of the Tisla suite was clarified. Biostratigraphic criteria to determine the boundary between the lower and upper parts of the Cretaceous in the Penin zone of the Carpathians were worked out.   Product Description popup.authors Bogdanova Milena I.
