In co-authorship with the scientists of the coordinating institution of the GDR, an electronic model of the monograph "Forecast and model of the development of agro-industrial production in the regions of the Steppe zone under conditions of global climate change" was prepared. An analytical report has been prepared on the scientific basis of forecasting the innovative development of agro-industrial production in the conditions of the climate crisis and other challenges. The influence of the climatic factor on agro-industrial production was studied, taking into account the analysis of multi-year data for 23 years. It has been established that agricultural production in such regions as Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions has been significantly affected by the climate factor in recent years, as evidenced by the increasing variability of gross harvests of agricultural crops and their average yield, low profitability of agriculture. The results of the systematic study showed that a necessary condition for the effective management of agricultural production, as well as scientifically based forecasting of their sustainable development, is the optimal combination of agro-industrial complex industries in accordance with natural-economic and ecological-climatic opportunities and resource provision. The comprehensive strategy of the post-war reconstruction of the agricultural sector is substantiated, where the main components are the modernization of agro-industrial production, robotics and automation, the creation of new irrigation systems, as well as the development of deep processing of agricultural products, the creation of new jobs of higher quality.
