Pidstryhach of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  New, oriented to the use of modern numerical methods, models of thermomechanics have been developed for the quantitative description of thermomechanical processes in structures of power engineering, weapons and military equipment under thermoforce loading, taking into account the dependence of material characteristics on spatial coordinates and temperature, geometrically nonlinear elastic-plastic deformation, phase changes and operational damage. New scientific and practical results were obtained on this basis. In particular, the strength and operational reliability of a number of elements of the structures of missile technology, weapons and military equipment of complex shape and structure have been evaluated, stress-optimized welded joints in power equipment structures have been proposed, which are 20% stronger than the existing ones, the residual phase and the stress state caused by it have been optimized in welds in steel bodies by using of additional mobile distributed heating sources, optimal duration modes of technological treatment in production processes of heating-cooling of structures made of elastic and visco-elastic functional-gradient materials, taking into account the relaxation of residual stresses at elevated temperatures, were obtained, the possibility of operating the collectors of the primary superheater of the TPP power unit with cracks was investigated, a new configuration of bimetallic thermoconverters with higher reliability and performance under long-term cyclic loading is proposed. A comparative analysis of the results of mathematical modeling and the corresponding full-scale destructive experiments for the oxidizer tanks of the launch vehicle fuel compartment showed a good agreement between the obtained values of the destructive loads, places and nature of the destruction of the tanks, which allows to significantly reduce the number of full-scale experiments during which structures are brought to destruction.
