Currently, scientific research on possible psychological and socio-psychological problems in children and adolescents during the period of their education with the use of screening methods, which allows to determine possible deviations in the psychosocial functioning of children and adolescents at the group and individual levels, is becoming more and more relevant. Health-related quality of life (HQL) provides a quantitative assessment of physical, psychological and social functioning, and psychosocial dysfunction - emotional and behavioral disorders, internalizing (depression and anxiety) or externalizing (anti-disciplinary and anti-social disorders, aggression , educational difficulties, etc.) signs. The peculiarity of the study is that during the survey, the contingent of schoolchildren was in the circumstances of quarantine measures related to the COVID epidemic, the change of the format of education from face-to-face to online. The object of the study: 593 students and 532 their parents. The aim of the study. Improving the effectiveness of determining psychosocial dysfunction and health-related quality of life in school-aged children and adolescents in the educational process by analyzing the results of a screening study. Materials and methods. 1. An adapted version of the methodology (questionnaire) "List of children's symptoms" - PSC-Ukr, which has 2 versions: parental PSC and children's Y-PSC. In the test, subscale indicators - internalization and externalization - were calculated. 2. Quality of life was studied using the Ukrainian version of the SF-36 questionnaire. Statistical data processing was carried out in the licensed software package SPSS Statistic v. 20. The study was conducted taking into account the basic principles of the Helsinki Declaration on Biomedical Research and the provisions of the GCH ICH, in accordance with the existing bioethical norms and with the informed consent of the parents.
