The novelty of the work lies in the derivation of regularities that link the design of shredding equipment, technological modes of its operation, parameters of chemical modification of the recyclate structure and the operational properties of light industry products. On the basis of these regularities, a resource-saving technology for the complex processing of polymer-containing waste was created, based on the mechanism of creating boundary deformations for the controlled destruction of polymer waste and the regularities that link the design parameters of the equipment, technological modes of its operation and the process of chemical modification of the structure of the resulting recyclates with the physical and mechanical characteristics and operational properties of light industry products. At the same time, a mechanism for the destruction of polymer-containing waste was proposed for the first time, which involves the sequential creation of various stress-strain states in the material, which will reduce energy consumption for grinding. This technology was implemented using a grinding device and chemical modification of the structure of recyclates in the reactor. A new technology for applying composite polymeric materials to textile and polymeric materials has been developed to improve adhesion resistance. To support this technology, a mechatronic device for applying polymer coatings was developed.
