Registration Date 05-02-2024 Organization V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  Key words: chronic intrauterine hypoxia, acute postnatal hypoxia, hypertension, human immunodeficiency virus, liver, liver parenchyma, liver stroma, hepatocytes, placenta, immunohistochemical study, morphometric study. The object of the study is perinatal pathology in the offspring of mothers with chronic intrauterine hypoxia, human immunodeficiency virus, and hypertension. The subject of the study is morpho-functional changes in the hepatobiliary system of experimental animals, fetuses and newborns from mothers with chronic intrauterine hypoxia, human immunodeficiency virus, hypertension, functional changes in the placenta. Research methods are macroscopic, organometric, histological, immunohistochemical, morphometric and statistical. Scientific novelty of the obtained results. It was established that from the moment of birth and as the children of HIV-infected mothers matured, non-parenchymal liver cells showed signs of their reduction (Kupffer cells, liver-associated CD4 lymphocytes), proliferation and hyperactivation (hepatic stellate cells), and proliferation (dendritic cells). The important diagnostic significance of liver fibrosis biomarkers APRI and FIB-4, which allowed to effectively establish the presence and track the dynamics of the development of fibrotic changes in the liver of children from HIV-infected mothers, was defined and argued. It was established that the sclerotic processes of the stromal-vascular component of the liver of fetuses and newborns under the influence of maternal HD occur due to the excessive production of fibronectin and collagen types I and III.
