The purpose of the work: establishing the specifics, patterns of application of forms and methods of musical education of students of the Faculty of Arts by means of vocal and stage art. The importance of musical education by means of vocal and stage art in the context of professional training of future music teachers in pedagogical institutions of higher education is noted. The expediency of theoretical and practical acquisitions and conclusions regarding music education by means of vocal and stage art, in particular vocal training of students at a pedagogical university, is proven. The degree of implementation: the published educational materials are aimed at the development of musical education by means of vocal and stage art and are used in the educational process and make a significant contribution to increasing the effectiveness of the training of future specialists. Recommendations regarding the use of work results: in the educational process of higher and secondary schools; in further explorations of the problematic field of musical education by means of vocal and stage art; musical performance practice. Significance of the work: teachers of institutions of higher pedagogical education, institutions of professional pre-higher and higher education can use the data obtained in the process of implementing the scientific topic of the department, generalized and systematized scientific provisions. Conclusions: Theoretical conclusions recorded in the publications of the department's teachers successfully find their practical implementation in educational and teaching activities.
