THERMOELECTRIC MATERIALS, EXTRUSION, COMPUTER SIMULATION The object of research is a polycrystalline thermoelectric material based on bismuth and antimony chalcogenides, obtained by the extrusion method. The purpose of the work is research aimed at creating the fundamentals of establishing material science laws for creation of extruded thermoelectric materials based on bismuth and antimony chalcogenides in the form of thin tapes. Research methods include computer simulation of the process of extrusion of a thermoelectric material based on Ві-Те to obtain tape structures in the form of thin tapes, experimental studies of technological modes of extrusion of tape structures, processing and analysis of the results obtained. A physical model has been developed for the flow under the action of external pressure of a thermoelectric material based on Bі-Те compounds through narrow slots of shaping surfaces. Object-oriented computer simulation method was used to establish the conditions for the formation of extruded tape structures of thermoelectric materials based on Ві-Те compounds. Specialized equipment for the extrusion of tape structures has been designed and created. Optimal technological conditions for obtaining highly efficient extruded thermoelectric materials in the form of thin tapes have been established. The optimal modes of high-temperature annealing of extruded thermoelectric tapes were determined to achieve maximum values of thermoelectric figure of merit and stability of thermoelectric parameters over time. The results obtained make it possible to create high-quality and time-stable thermoelectric materials in the form of extruded tapes for the thermoelectric industry, which will lead to improved product characteristics and a decrease in their cost due to a reduction of thermoelectric material lo  Product Description popup.authors Nitzovych Olha V.
